The company, founded in 2006 by Andreas Klöckner, Sascha Rimkus and Thomas Goldhahn and started as a true passion project at Helmholtzplatz in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, has now become an institution in the Berlin food scene.

The concept, a mix of modern grocery store, wine and cookbook store, café, and cooking school, enjoys great popularity and remains unique in its form. The team now numbers around 30 multitalented employees, who are dedicated to their customers and contribute significantly to the success of Goldhahn and Sampsons with their in-depth knowledge of food and refined taste.

The Cooking School: Over 100 courses from 40 different cooking instructors from over 20 nations are usually held quarterly at the two cooking schools in Prenzlauer Berg and Charlottenburg. From basic techniques to international cuisines, pastry and baking courses to workshops and wine seminars, culinary enthusiasts will find everything they desire. Classic French and cooking with koji: There's nothing you can't find. The courses last a maximum of five hours, of which two to three hours are usually spent cooking.
Due to the current situation, all cooking classes are currently taking place via live stream.
